The Esslingen Christmas Market is a special experience because it is not just a Christmas market, but a medieval Christmas market. If you want to know how people used to dress, what they ate and how and with what they traded, then this afternoon in Esslingen will surprise you.
Just as they did many hundreds of years ago, traders offer their goods related to the Middle Ages at colourful stalls: Jewellery, delicacies from the Orient, old lighters made of tinder & sponge, home-made candles, hand-forged knives: the selection is almost inexhaustible.
When: Saturday, 11 December, 3 p.m.
